Google's Project Spectrum

Upon seeing Google's name on the list of vendor's for ASA's 39th Annual Conference on Autism Spectrum Disorders, I became curious about just what Google's affiliation to the autism community could be. Ironically, I began my research by "Googling" the terms "Google" and "Autism." The second link on page one of my search results answered my question and gave me a new found respect for the good people at Google. Click here to see how Google SketchUp, free 3D design software is helping kids with autism to express themselves and have fun while doing it. I recommend watching the video to see examples of houses designed by kids on the spectrum.

If you will be in Orlando for the ASA conference be sure to stop by the ASNC Bookstore booth (209) to say hello and check out our selection of informative and valuable ASD resources.
